Papers pertain to Castle's film career and the early motion picture industry in Ithaca, New York. They include financial accounts of the Mrs. Vernon Castle Management and the Castle Club; copies of certificates of incorporation of Cayuga Pictures and Hol-Tre Producing Company of Ithaca, also other legal documents, correspondence, and accounts of the latter and of the W.W. Hodkinson Corporation, which produced and distributed films starring Irene Castle. Also, two scrapbooks about her, 1921-22; publicity galleys for the film "French Heels"; loose clippings; and sheet music for "Patria," ca. 1917.
